An Innovation in Grain Auger Design Announced by Wheatheart Manufacturing

SA Flex- Save Time This Harvest

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada - February 6, 2008 - A division of Ag Growth Industries, Wheatheart Manufacturing (Wheatheart) announced today the release of its most innovative auger design to date; the SA Flex.

Wheatheart developed a product that’s going to change the way farmers unload grain at the bin. “With this auger, you can unload both hoppers on a 54’ grain trailer without moving the truck. Farmers are going to appreciate this machine and the time it will save them at harvest,” says Dan Norwood of Norwood Sales, North Dakota.

Verne Rogers, R&D manager explains the time savings afforded by the SA Flex, “This auger includes all the standard features of the SA series, but includes a double jointed hydraulic power swing and hydraulic hopper mover system that extends over 15’ and covers up to 287% more area than any other 13” auger .”

A prototype of the SA Flex was tested in Saskatoon in September 2008.

Wheatheart is confident that this new auger will be a popular choice among farmers looking for a time savings tool at harvest this season.

The SA Flex is available in 13” tube diameter and in lengths of 71’, 81’ and 91’.
